Hi and if you’re reading this you’re a Pro member well done and thank you now let’s get started in our quest to create an online business that really earns you a second income and some extra cash to do the things YOU want to do. So where do we start?

Keyword Research

First off we need to plan what we want to do and how we want to do it…This will involve some Keyword Research now a keyword is something you type in on google when you search for something for example “free stuff” is a keyword.

To do keyword research you will need to create a Google AdWords account for free and then select keyword planner (if you can’t find it just Google ” Google keyword planner”)

keyword planner

Then you will need to click ” Search for new keyword using a phrase, website or category” as shown above. This will enable us to enter keywords and then get suggestions on other keywords similar to what we have entered it will also show how many searches each keyword gets and how competitive it is.

Let’s say for example we want to do a site about “hypnotism” type it into the keyword planner and click “get ideas” after a few seconds you should see something like this :

Now as you can see “Hypnotism” gets around 3600 searches and is moderately competitive now this might seem perfect to make a website on right…wrong go and type Hypnotism into a google search and it will return over 3 and a half MILLION websites and not only that top websites like Wikipedia how stuff works and other big sites are all first page.

It will be very hard to outrank those sites for the keyword “hypnotism” Ideally we want to find a keyword that will return under 500,000 searches when we google it and also it gets between 2000 and 15,000 searches according to the keyword planner.

We also don’t want to see big name sites all over the first page of the search for the keyword because we want to rank first page and we want to do it quite easily this is known as a “Niche”.
